  • is serviced by 16 water storage reservoirs with a maximum capacity of 14.6 million gallons of water.
  • has 8 culinary water sources: 3 deep wells, 1 spring, 2 tunnels, Rockport Reservoir and one imported source (JSSD).
  • maintains a water distribution system that is one of the most complex in the U.S. with 43 pressure zones, 20 tanks, 16 pump stations and 49 pressure-reducing stations.
  • maintains over 140 miles of water pipeline. pumps water to it's residents over an elevation range greater than 1/3 of a mile.
  • uses almost 70% of total summer consumption for irrigation.
